Kindergarten Curriculum

Goals
Our educational program meets each student’s intellectual, cultural, physical, artistic, and spiritual needs. Our goal is to train and equip young people for a life of service to God, based on II Timothy 3:16 and 17, “All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”

Half-Day And All-Day Kindergarten
Parents like to have choices. We are pleased that we are able to offer Half-Day and All-Day Kindergarten so parents can choose the class that works best for their child.

There are many similarities between Full-Day and Half-Day Kindergarten. Half-day Kindergarten offers Physical Education, Chapel, Special Guests, and Field Trips. Full-day kindergarten offers Spanish, Physical Education, Music, Chapel, Special Guests, and Field Trips. Some field trips are in the afternoon and Half-Day Kindergarten students are invited to attend. Both classes promote social interaction and prepare students for First Grade

The main difference is the time the child spends in the classroom. Both classes require some daily homework. Home review and practice is absolutely vital for the Half-Day Class. Both classes use Learning Centers with the Full-Day class having an additional Learning Center in the afternoon.

Curriculum
Our Kindergarten curriculum will follow the state standards along with customized Christian Curriculum in order to reach all learning styles.

Small Family Atmosphere
Children are known by their name. Because our class sizes are small (maximum of 18 students) we are able to develop a close relationship with each student and their parents.
