Nondiscriminatory Policy
Calvary Christian School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to the students at the school. CCS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, and national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletic activities or any other school administered programs.
Requirements
The following requirements have been established for admission to Calvary Christian School:
Completed application form, signed by parent(s) or legal guardians, including health records, references, and registration fee. The registration fee will be refunded if admission is not granted.
Satisfactory scholastic and behavioral records from previous school(s).
Arizona Immunization Requirements
Exemptions : The law allows (a) parents/guardians to elect exemptions to immunization requirements based upon their personal beliefs, and (b) health care providers of children to elect medical exemptions. Forms to be signed by the parents/guardians electing the personal beliefs exemption or the forms to be signed by the child’s health care provider should be stapled to the ASIR.
* Calvary Christian School will not admit children without full and updated immunizations or a complete, signed immunization waiver.
Spiritual Standard of Admission
Calvary Christian School is called to serve those parents who take to heart the command of the Lord in Deuteronomy 6:6-7. We seek to come alongside families who have a deep commitment to Jesus Christ and a devotion to His ways. Therefore, to be considered for admission to Calvary Christian School, at least one parent in the family must have received Jesus Christ and be devoted to following Him.
We are intentionally Christian, and require a letter from the Pastor where each family is attending church. We are like minded and believe the atmosphere is different because our families have similar values.
